Roman, a struggling but dedicated painter is trying to find his place in the world. He never quite fit in with the rest of the world and feels that somehow he is different than most people. He believes that the Universe is in some way, out to get him, and that chance, luck and opportunity are passing him by. However, a new idea has come into the world which has his future in mind. Roman soon finds the world is a quite different place than he thought and that his destiny is much more in his own hands than it seems.

I like that I have two very different styles. Here’s the more cartoony one, similar to The Holy Numbers style but even simpler. For those that have an interest, I have scrapped my current ideas for the comic I was working on and have gone down a different path. I was expecting this actually, the same thing happened with The Holy Numbers. More news as my brain produces it.

Here’s the deal. A movement is moving. A chain letter of sorts from one comic creator to another. We all answer the same questions and then tag three people to have to then answer the questions. I got tagged by Danny McLaughlin in this post. So now it’s my turn.

What is the working title of your book?
Hmm, it’s not a working title as the comic is soon coming to it’s end. There is about 3 issues left to go. But it’s called THE HOLY NUMBERS.

What genre does your book fall under?
Not too sure. Spiritual fiction?

Give a brief synopsis of your book:
Holy Numbers is set in an alternative modern day Ireland, where a new age spiritual movement has become really popular and powerful. Their founder and leader is murdered, leaving his sangha to do as they will. It quickly become apparent that the teachings and beliefs of the religion are to change.

Where did the idea for the book come from?
It evolved from a lesser idea I had about a physic detective who helps the authorities in their crime solving. It was a basic but charming story that was told a million times before. But luckily for me it grew into something much more interesting and relevant.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
I actually cast the characters before I started drawing them, so I would have something to work with. So I know exactly who everyone should be played by. the cast includes:
Dean Winters, Bradley Whitford, and Richard Belzer, among others.
