I have been busy since I left the HMH office and have been working hard on the first issue of TOMMIE KELLY PRESENTS. So far I have 4 of the 7 pages of From Rags To Rockstars: Pictures of Faith and Devotion Chapter 1 finished. I also have the first chapter of Down written and laid out. Yesterday I finished page one and today i got most of Page two done. I am doing digital pencils on DOWN inking on real paper and colouring with Promarkers. I am really enjoying using the markers and although it’s a lot slower, the end results are so much better. Have a look, this is exactly how I seen the seen in my head:
