I have been busy since I left the HMH office and have been working hard on the first issue of TOMMIE KELLY PRESENTS. So far I have 4 of the 7 pages of From Rags To Rockstars: Pictures of Faith and Devotion Chapter 1 finished. I also have the first chapter of Down written and laid out. Yesterday I finished page one and today i got most of Page two done. I am doing digital pencils on DOWN inking on real paper and colouring with Promarkers. I am really enjoying using the markers and although it’s a lot slower, the end results are so much better. Have a look, this is exactly how I seen the seen in my head:

The Universe is pretty big…but not that big. In the distant future pockets of the universe has become over populated with millions of life forms living in Trailer Parks orbiting Planets and along trade routes. These trailer parks are mostly filled with old broken down space shapes that have been converted into permanent homes for the poor, working class and unfortunates of the universe. These slums are breeding ground for crime, invasion, murder, genocide, war and colliding homes. All of which leave a huge mess. Meet Zack McAllester and John Cuttler, space entrepreneurs, who have just returned to the Cleaning up business. Need that front room spotless after an alien attack?, is your toilet area covered in goo from that alien guest who exploded? or simply need your airlock windows cleaned?, then these are your men!

Ok, so the new printer arrived and I was finally able to print out the digital pencils onto an 11x17inch Bristol Board. I also printed the title, website and panel box just to make the finished peice be complete. Inked with a brush pen, a dip pen and a brush using Winsor and Newton Black India Ink. More to follow.
Here’s the digital pencils I did in Manga Studio for Moments #003. These will be printed out on A3 and then inked the old fashioned way. I’ll post more in progress stuff for this one.

Here’s something I have never posted before. When I was starting out doing comics I did a comic called THE END which was a future earth/ everyone’s dead comic. I might actually post it later on today if I get time. Anyway, I also recorded some music as a soundtrack to it. So have a listen if you have a few spare minutes. The intro track interestingly became the basis for a song I recorded last year called Circle. I have included that below too.
